Having watched some of the concert on the old iplayer tonight, I'm very pleased to report that they have finally implemented the function where if you press the cursor keys it skips forwards and backwards!

No more having to use the mouse or touch-pad, you can skip right through this lot, straight to the bit what your friend was in, just with the keyboard!

Nice. Thanks BBC. It's a real time-saver.

That stage is really a remarkable shape, and it allows the incredible speed they're turning the acts over, even sans my fast-forwarding. Everyone's only doing like two songs, and they're seemlessly into the next act on another part of the rig. It is amazing technical work.

The drone light show / light-map projections on the palace were actually very captivating.

The engineers are all brilliant.

The queen herself wasn't there for the show, she was in bed 20 miles away. She is very old. But her son tried to get everyone to shout so loud they woke her up anyway. The bastard. No wonder nobody likes him.

I guess.

He's hoping she's the last.
